While there, we of course had to see if there was any possibility to operate from the 4U1UN station. Due to some previous trouble\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; font-size: small;\">at the station there are serious restrictions on the access these days. Since both me and Peter are UN field staff we where able to g<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; font-size: small;\">et p<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; font-size: small;\">ermission to operate. Since we had so short time there (only one evening) we could not arrange any serious operation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; font-size: small;\">To be able to get 2 stations running we had to disable the NCXDF beacon so we could use the antenna for the second station. Between us we made a thousand contacts before closing down.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\">There is both a Kenwood 950SDX and a 940 for the station, both with TL-922 Amps. The only working antenna is the Vertical for the NCDXF Beacon.
